Deposition fluxes of sulphur and nitrogen based on bulk and throughfall precipitation analysis were calculated for the period 1994?2001 in the GEOMON network encompassing fourteen small forest catchments in the Czech Republic. A remarkable decrease in the bulk and throughfall deposition of sulphur occurred as a result of the desulphurization programme realized in the Czech Republic between 1996 and 1998. On contrary deposition of nitrogen is constant or increasing. Comparison with three Swedish atchments is also presented.
