This paper deals with the sedimentological research of three stratigraphic levels in the Upper Silurian and the Lower Devonian of the Barrandian area (Ludlow-Přídolí, Přídolí-Lochkovian and Lochkovian-Pragian boundary intervals). The characterization ofsedimentary environments and depositional processes is based on microfacies analysis (after Wilson 1975) combined with the study of sedimentary textures.

Czech description
Tato práce se zabývá sedimentologickým výzkumem tří stratigrafických úrovní ve svrchním siluru a spodním devonu Barrandienu (hraniční intervaly ludlow-přídolí, přídolí-lochkov, lochkov-prag) se zřetelem na koncepci Wilsona (1975). Na základě mikrofaciální analýzy v kombinaci se studiem sedimentárních textur je charakterizováno prostředí a mechanizmus vzniku karbonátových sledů.
