    Unusual chemistry of zircon from peraluminous granites

    Some zircons from the Podlesí granite system are extraordinarily depleted (Si, down to 0.30 apfu; Zr, down to 0.57 apfu) or enriched in several elements, which form trace components in ordinary zircon. The P content increases up to 20 wt% (0.60 apfu P).

    Zirkon z vysoce frakcionovaného peraluminického granitového systému Podlesí je extrémně obohacen některými prvky, které se běžně v zirkonu vyskytují pouze ve stopovém množství. Obsah P205 dosahuje až 20% (0.60 apfu P). Obohacení uranem je až 14.75% UO2.
