Original language description
Considerable loss of base nutrients form soils due to litter raking was observed. In the first year of experiment, the proportion of exchangeable Mg soil pool removed by raking was 16 % and the proportion of removed exchangeable Ca varied from 24 to 31 %of its soil pool. The proportion decreased to 14 % and 16 % of Mg2+ and Ca2+ soil pool, respectively, in the second year. Losses of Mg and Ca were considerably higher than their annual input into the forest soil (estimated as throughfall flux plus weathering) as well as their annual stream water output.

Czech description
Následkem experimentálního odstranění hrabanky byla zjištěna značná ztráta bazických živin z půdy. V prvním roce experimentu se zásoba přístupného Mg v půdě snížila o 16 % a Ca mezi 24 až 31 %. V druhém roce experimentu to bylo 14 % Mg a 16 % Ca. ZtrátyMg a Ca značně převyšují jejich vstup do půdy (odhadovaný jako suma podkorunových srážek a zvětrávání) stejně jako jejich výstup v povrchovém odtoku.
