Sustainable development of European regions is highly desired aspect of Human life philosophy in close future. Several European development programs are already in run, thus new members of EU are motivated to get started being involved. Czech-Bavarian Geopark represents the oldest projects within the Czech geopark family, and the first border-crossing project. Administrative differences in both countries and also different Czech regional administrative specifications caused a long-termed hard work on this effort, but finally seeming to get close to successful finish.
