Original language description
The book chapter summarizes the evolution, principles and fundamentals of acidification models. The modeling of acidification effects started with steady-state models which were before all used for calculation of target loads. The new dynamic models werebased on same principles but they include one critical component - time. The results of previous and current modeling play important role in composing of acts, regulations and laws.
