The OneGeology-Europe project had the aim of creating a dynamic digital geological map of Europe. Of the 34 members of EuroGeoSurveys (EGS), 20 participated in the OneGeology-Europe project,so the European area has not been completely covered. It was therefore decided to establish a successor initiative OneGeology Europe Plus (1G-E+) with the purpose of extending the coverage by geological maps at a scale of 1:1 M to all the EGS member countries and also, if possible, to the other European countries. The 1G-E+ initiative has no external funding. In order to achieve the desired result, it will be necessary for the new GSOs who intend to supply the additional 1G-E standardized services to carry out the work using their own staff and resources. The technical guidance and other support will be provided by the 1G-E+ Technical Support Team. The team is coordinated by CGS working in cooperation with BRGM, BGS, GEUS and GeoZS. The Technical Support Team will support the technical work required
