The conference was open to all foraminiferal and nannofossil researchers and students to present their results on any aspect of taxonomy, ecology, paleoecology, biogeography, and global change research. The post-conference excursion was held to the LateCretaceous (Upper Cenomanian - Lower Turonian) transgressive deposits near Kutná Hora and Kolín (Central Bohemia, Bohemian Cretaceous Basin).
