Bedrock weathering and stream water chemistry in felsic and ultramafic forest catchments
Original language description
The felsic (granitic) Lysina catchment exibited low resilience to anthopogenic acidic deposition. Pluhuv Bor catchment, underlain by ultramafic rocks (especially serpentinite), exhibited very high resilience to acidic deposition and peculiar drainage water chemistry. A significant depletion trend in Mg was obseved from the unweathered to weathered rocks and to the topsoils at both sites.
