Original language description
Kyanite eclogite interlayered with garnet peridotite from T-7 borehole, Saxothurian basement of the northern part of the Bohemian Massif, preserves minimum peak conditions of 3.5-4.5 GPa and 900-1050oC. Presence of inclusions of amphibole and zoisite reflects prograde evolution of these rocks, providing evidence for subduction of the ultramafic complex. These rocks were incorporated into the subducted continental crust (diamond-bearing granulites) during Variscan orogeny.
