Health and quality of working life: current trends
Original language description
This study examines health determinants—lifestyle factors (smoking, diet, alcohol consumption, physical activity) and BMI—and overall health patterns in the Czech population, linking them to the quality of working life (QWL). Building upon previous research by Štěpánek (2022), which established a link particularly between mental health and QWL, this study offers recommendations for improving employee health and work satisfaction, noting the pivotal role employers play in promoting wellbeing.
