Original language description
The aim of the project Productions of Czech Ancient Drama on the Czech Stage was to digitalize the entire available documentation concerning not only basic data (place and time of the production, its director) but also theatre programmes, reviews of theproductions, stage designs and extracts from videorecordings. After the completion of the basic stage of the project, the database included information on 329 productions realized on professional and amateur stages from 1889-2000 in what is now Czech Republic. The study introduces the first overall account of the tradition of theatre productions in the Czech lands based on the materials that have accumulated up now and to establish a basis for future research. There is the table of productions on the Czech stage included.
