Hot water soluble carbon in polyfactorial field experiments.

  • Original language description

Hot water soluble carbon is a valuable and sensitive characteristic of the organic matter status in arable soils. It forms a different fraction from the humic substances characterising the dynamic part of the soil oprganic matter that is a main source of energy and matter for the soil biota including the roots of cultivated plants. Hot water soluble carbon in polyfactorial field experiments was investigated.
