Original language description
Analysis showed that excessive soil compaction caused to the Czech Republic average annual losses of 127,000 t in winter wheat, which is 3.5 % of the total production. For suger beet, there is a loss of 192,300 t, i.e. 5.5 % of the total production. In financial costs, it represents an average annual loss of nearly 15.5 million euro for winter wheat and more than 5.5 million euro for sugar beet.
