The effect of chromosome 3B gene/s of Česká přesívka on vernalisation response, photoperiod sensitivity and earliness of wheat.
Original language description
Impact of gene/genes present on the chromosome 3B of Česká přesívka was stu ed under short and long photoperiod in a set of lines with chromosome 3B of Č. přesívka substituted to different backgrounds of wheat (Zdar, Vala, Košutka, Jara and Sandra) together withlines of parental cultivars. The results suggest that the gene or genes on chromosome 3B do not govern or importantly affect the cernalisation response but their relation to photoperiod response in more probable. However independent impact of the3B chromosome genes - earliness per se and its possible interaction with photoperiod response is most likely.
