Production and pedological effect of soil protection stand establishment of field crops.
Original language description
In field experiments using both conventional and protective soil tillage technology with direct drilling into no-tilled soil, the impact of these technologies on crop production and soil compaction was studied. The results showed that cereals could achieve comparable grain yields under protection tillage as under conventional one, especially on light sand soils. Irrigation turned out to be important intensifying factor in protection tillage system. It was found that soil protection technologies are important ways of elimination of subsoil compaction.
