Original language description

Regulation of P-solubilising activity by the presence of soluble phosphates in medium was determined. At these studies, the direct determination of the solubilised phosphate in medium was masked by the presence of relatively high concentrations of soluble phosphate added. Therefore residual tricalcium phosphate was determined. It was found that there exist Rhizobium strains whose P-solubilising activity is inhibited and other strains, whose P-solubilisign activity was not inhibited or to a low extent in the presence of soluble phosphate.
