Original language description
Bacillus subtilis represents a biological agent of some health relevance. Its rapid detection and identification is highly desirable. By using FT-IR spectroscopy for this purpose, slightly different characteristics were obtained from cell mass grown in differently composed cultural media and harvested in different phases of bacterial growth. Attenuated total reflectance and absorption/transmission scanning technique, delivered structurally identical spectra but those obtained by the former technique were more expressed.

Czech description
Bacillus subtilis představuje biologické agens, které je významné ze zdravotního hlediska. Proto je jeho rychlá detekce velmi důležitá. S využitím FT-IR spektroskopie lze získat rozdílné charakteristiky buněčné hmoty vzniklé v různých kultivačních mediích a v různých fázích růstu. Celková reflektance a absorpční/transmisní skenovací technika poskytly identická spektra, avšak reflexní spektra byla výraznější.
