It was evaluated the development of number of cattle in the Czech republic and there were obtained the objective data about economy of its management. It was established average cost per cow and year in system of farming of cows without market dairy production. There is a tendency for costs to decrease with increasing the size of a herd.

Byl hodnocen vývoj počtu skotu v České republice a získána objektivní data ekonomického hospodaření. Dále byly stanoveny průměrné náklady na krávu a rok v systému bez tržní produkce mléka. Je tendence ke snížení nákladů při současném zvýšení velikosti stáda.
