Genetic improvement of crop end use quality and cultivar adaptability belongs to the main goals or crop breeding. Increased productivity and yield stability or modern cultivars have been achieved through conventional breeding. Now, increasing knowledge of plant genome structure and function allows development or better genotype by the use of molecular markers. Here I aimed to introduce the programs and background available in the Research Institute of Crop Production.
