Original language description

The occurrence and geographic distribution of Xiphinema species were investigated during a nematological survey in the rhizosphere of grapevine. Sixty eight samples from 28 vineyards from South Moravia, and one vineyard from Central Bohemia, were studied. Four Xiphinema species (X. brevicollum, X. diversicaudatum, X. pachtaicum and X. vuittenezi) were recorded. One of the described species, X. vuittenezi, is widespread, occurring in 27 out of 29 vineyards. Xiphinema vuittenezi and X. diversicaudatum were also detectect by PCR-based methodology.

Czech description

Během nematologického průzkumu v rhizosféře vinné révy byl zkoumán výskyt a geografické rozšíření druhů Xiphinema. Bylo studováno 68 vzorků z 28 vinic z jižní Moravy a jedné vinice ze středních Čech. Byly nalezeny čtyři druhy Xiphinema (X. brevicollum, X. diversicaudatum, X. pachtaicum a X. vuittenezi). Jeden z popsaných druhů, X. vuittenezi, je nejrozšířenější v ČR, nachází se ve 27 z 29 vinic. Xiphinema vuittenezi a X. diversicaudatum byly detekovány metodou PCR.
