An influence of deltamethrin on Cephalonomia tarsalis

The aim of our study was to assess an influence of deltamethrin (K-Othrin 25W) on Cephalonomia tarsalis with a purpose to determine lethal concentrations (LC10-LC99) and corresponding lethal times (LT50). Males and females were exposed (dipping) individually to different concentration of deltamethrin (0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2%) and checked for mortality. Data were analysed using probit analysis of PoloPlus software for windows. There was found different influence of deltamethrin on malesand females of C. tarsalis ? males were more susceptible then females. LC50 for males was 0.476% (95% CI=0.283, 0.8701; n=120) and LC50 for females was 1.139% (95% CI=0.737, 2.242; n=200).

Czech description
V laboratorním experimentu byl sledován vliv deltamethrinu na paraziotoida Cephalonomia tarsalis. Samci a samice Cephalonomia tarsalis byly různě citlivé k deltamethrinu (F=6.1,df=1,13, p<0.05) ? samci byly citlivější než samice. Výsledky v logitech s log(koncentrace+1)transformací byly pro samce n=120, slope = 4.1143 ? 0.4833, intercept = -2.3505 ? 0.3681, LC50 = 0.758 ? 0.069 % (?SE). Výsledky v logitech s log(koncentrace+1) transformací byly pro samice n=200, slope = 4.1143 ? 0.4833, intercept = -3.2457 ? 0.3924 , LC50 = 1.201 ? 0.059 % (?SE). Rozdílná citlivost k tomuto biocidu může být podmíněná různou velikostí samců a samic.
