Original language description
A pentaplex reverse - transcription polymerase chain reaction in a single tube was developed for the simultaneous detection of the pome fruit viruses: Apple stem pitting virus, Apple stem growing virus, Apple chlorotic leafspot virus, and Apple mosaic virus. Different combinations of mixed infection of viruses were identified in samples of infected apple and pear trees. The sensitivity of detection by monoplex - and pentaplex RT-PCR assays is comparable.

Czech description
Byla vyvinuta pentaplex reversní transkripce polymerázové řetězové reakce v jedné zkumavce pro simultánní stanovení virů jádrovin: viru vrásčitosti kmene jabloně, viru žlábkovitosti kmene jabloně, viru chlorotické skvrnitosti listů jabloně a viru mozaikyjabloně. Ve vzorcích z infikovaných stromů jabloně a hrušně byly identifikovány různé kombinace směsných infekcí virů. Citlivost detekce monoplex - a pentaplex RT-PCR testu je srovnatelná.
