Comparison of morphological characteristics of two Stem nematode (Ditylenchus dipsaci) isolated from salad chicory and garlic populations was conducted. Morphological characteristics were investigated by measuring of basic body measurements of the nematodes and calculating of nematological indexes (De Man's formula). Obtained data were statistically evaluated. Statistically significant differences were detected at the length of pharynx, body width and a, b, MB, V, V' and VA/T at females and body length,tail length, length of pharynx and a, b and MB indexes at males. Established differences could be used for distinguishing between these populations.

Srovnávací studie morfologických vlastností dvou populací háďátka zhoubného (Ditylenchus dipsaci)

Czech description

Bylo provedeno srovnání morfologických vlastností dvou populací Háďátka zhoubného (Ditylenchus dipsaci) izolovaných ze salátové čekanky a z česneku. Morfologické vlastnosti byly zkoumány pomocí měření základních tělesných rozměrů háďátek a výpočtem nematologických indexů (De Manových hodnot). Získaná data byla statisticky vyhodnocena. Byly zjištěny statisticky významné rozdíly v délce jícnu, šířce těla a indexech b, MB, V, V' a VA/T u samic a v délce těla, délce ocasu, délce styletu a indexech a, b a MBu samců. Zjištěné rozdíly mohou být využity pro rozlišení těchto dvou populací Háďátka zhoubného.
