Organic matter balances have been monitored in the Ústí nad Orlicí region (North-East Bohemia) on the farm level and also according to crop rotations, since 1976. The balances have been calculated according to Škarda (1976). The results of the OM balances were evaluated in relation to the total C and hot water soluble C contents in topsoil. were calculated by means of two procedures. According to Škarda (calculation of organic matter need and its cover by organic manure), according to model CCB3, derived from model CANDY (Franko, 2004). Results were evaluated in relation to the total organic C content in topsois at selected localities of the Basal soil monitoring system and in Ústí nad Orlicí region.

Czech description
Bilance organických látek jsou v oblasti Ústí nad Orlicí sledovány na úrovni zemědělských podniků a osevních postupů od roku 1976. Jsou vypočítávány metodou podle Škardy (1976). Výsledky stanovení bilance organických látek byly vyhodnoceny ve vztahu k obsahu celkového organického C v půdě a jeho horkou vodou extrahovatelného podílu.
