Thid work discribes a methods for cryopreservation of hop tips. Tested were pretreatment with using 0,75 M sucrose and 60 % polyethylene glycol(PEG). Were tested encapsulation and dehydration, controlled freezing and ultrarapid freezing methods. The czech hop variety Harmonie had a highest recovery after cryoprotokol. Nowdays 30 varieties of hop are conserved in liquid nitrogene. Cryopreservation and next regeneration of plant was successfully carry out in 11 varieties of hop.
