In the work the effect of different defoliation management on the occurrence of weed species in upland meadow in the Jizerske Mountains from 2000 to 2007 was studied. The following treatments were applied: cutting twice a year with biomass removal, mulching from 1 to 3 times a year and no management. During the experiment, tall dicotyledonous species such as Anthriscus sylvestris, Cirsium arvense and Urtica dioica as well as the grass weed Elytrigia repens were promoted by no management and mulching once a year. On the other hand, prostrate species, namely Taraxacum spp., responded positively to a higher frequency of defoliation and disappeared under no management.

Vliv různých způsobů defoliace na plevele na podhorské louce
Czech description
V této práci byl studován vliv různých způsobů obhospodařování na výskyt plevelných druhů na podhorské louce v Jizerských horách v letech 2000-2007. Byly založeny následující varianty pokusu: kosení dvakrát ročně s odstraňováním biomasy, mulčování jednouaž třikrát ročně a neobhospodařovaný porost. V průběhu pokusu vysoké dvouděložné druhy jako Anthriscus sylvestris, Cirsium arvense a Urtica dioica a mezi plevelnými travami Elytrigia repens byly podporovány na neobhospodařované a jednou ročně mulčovanévariantě. Naopak druhy s prostrátním růstem, zejména Taraxacum spp., positivně reagovaly na vyšší frekvenci defoliace a vymizely na neobhospodařovaném porostu.
