Original language description
Stored food and agricultural commodities are often contaminated with stored produkt pests. That includes also synanthropic psocids (Psocoptera), whose pest status has increased worldwide in recent years. Psocids can cause economic losses related to declining quality and food safety. Early detection and exact identification of pest species is important for pest management, control and international trade. The presentation is focused on psocids as pests of stored rice. Psocids records from Portuguese ricestores and comparison with worldwide psocids occurrence in stored rice and other cereals are given. Identification of the most important psocids species found in stored rice, methods of their monitoring, detection, and extraction from infested samples are outlined.

Skladované potravinářské a zemědělské komodity jsou často kontaminovány skladištními pisivkami (Psocoptera), které mohou působit ekonomické ztráty v souvislosti se snížením kvality a bezpečnosti potravin. Práce je zaměřena na pisivky jako škůdce skladované rýže a ostatních obilovin - jejich celosvětové rozšíření, identifikace, metody monitorování, detekce a extrakce z kontaminovaných vzorků.
