Preliminary zoning of agricultural land for Miscanthus (Miscanthus x giganteus) for the Czech Republic

Original language description

Zoning of agriculture land of specific energy crops for biomass production is a toll which can help balance demand for biomass production by energy dedicated crops and conventional agricultural crops. The article deals with preliminary results of zoningof agriculture land for perennial plant Miscanthus, which is one of the promising energy crops for the Czech Republic. Methodology of zoning was based on results of field testing (small experimental plots) of Miscanthus x giganteus Greef and Deu. Resultsof field testing (yields) were related to the Czech agricultural land valuation, e.g. to its production-ecological soil units (BPEJ in Czech). Zoning can be used in strategic planning and farming practice to select the best suitable land.

Czech description

Rajonizace zemědělské půdy pro specifické energetické plodiny pro produkci biomasy je nástroj, který může pomoci vyvážit potřeby plodin určených na biomasu pro energetické využití a klasických zemědělských plodin. Tento referát pojednává o předběžné rajonizaci zemědělské půdy pro vytrvalou rostlinu ozdobnici, která je jednou z nadějných energetických plodin v ČR. Metodika rajonizace je založena na výsledcích polních pokusů (maloparcelkové pokusy) Miscanthus x giganteus Greef and Deu. Výsledky polních pokusů (výnosy) byly vztaženy k ohodnocení zemědělských půd v ČR, tj. bonitačním půdním ekologickým jednotkám (v ČR BPEJ). Rajonizace může být využita při strategickém plánování a v zemědělské praxi k výběru nejvhodnějších stanovišť.
