A comparative study of the efficiency of several sources of induced resistance to powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici) in wheat under field conditions
Original language description
In previous laboratory experiments on leaf segments we found several compounds of both synthetic and biological origin induce resistance to powdery mildew in wheat. The aim of that work was to confirm effectiveness of individual inducers in the winter wheat Kanzler, susceptible to powdery mildew in comparison with the efficiency of race-specific and partially resistance to this disease. The long-term influence of induced resistance on suppression of powdery mildew with differences among individual inducers. All inducers reduced disease severity in comparison with untreated control.
