  • Original language description

    Low pathogenic PPV-D strain changed the hypersensitivity of plum cv. Jojo into the systemic reaction expressing severe PPV symptoms. Very severe systemic symptoms of PPV appeared in leaves and in fruits of one Jojo tree inoculated by grafting with PPV-D.The presence of PPV was confirmed both by ELISA and RT-PCR in diffuse spots and rings of infected leaves and in fruits showing severe PPV symptoms.
