Molecular markers in breeding programmes of rapeseed: identification of CMS Shaan 2A restorers
Original language description
The aim of this study was to develop effective molecular markers for detection of fertility restorer plants, carrying genes (Rf) for Shaan 2A CMS system, which have been created by repeated cycles of backcrossing together in combination with techniques double-haploidization(DH) after crossing with donor of 00 quality. Two tightly linked DNA markers to a restorer gene of Pol CMS system were tested and results confirm their suitability for Shaan 2A CMS system. Furthermore, new molecular marker for detection of restorer plants for Shaan 2A CMS system was designed.
