Mycotoxin production, chemotypes and diversity of Czech Fusarium graminearum isolates on wheat
Original language description
Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a serious cereal disease in the Czech Republic. The most important pathogen associated with FBH is Fusarium graminearum, which can produce trichothecenes, mainly deoxynivalenol (DON) and its derivates. The paper describes anevaluation of wheat ears samples for DON content by ELISA, an analysis of 103 isolates of F. graminearum for the genetic diversity by AFLP and a determination of their chemotypes using PCR assays.
