Airborne laser scanning data as a source of field topographical characteristics

  • Original language description

This work is therefore focused on the evaluation of airborne laser scanning data suitability as another source for topographical characteristics creation on a smaller scale for the needs of precision agriculture. The experimental data for this study wereobtained from experimental field of 11.5 ha in Prague?Ruzyne (50°05`N, 14°18`E). The topographic data were obtained by using of a hand-held RTK-GPS receiver and by the help of airborne laser scanning. RTK-GPS elevation data were recorded as accurately as possible (?0.02 m) at 300 positions in the experimental field on an almost regular grid. Forward stepwise linear regression on significance level p=0.05 was used for the purpose to evaluate the influence of topography on yield. The influence of topography on the yields was in relation to precipitations and temperature.
