    Evaluation of Selected Cucurbitaceous Vegetables for Resistance to Zucchini yellow mosaic virus

  • Original language description

    Selected cucurbitaceous vegetables were evaluated for their resistance to Zucchini mosaic virus (ZYMV). The evaluation was based on the comparison of the virus protein relative concentration in tested plants after ZYMV mechanical inoculation and observedsymptoms. The ZYMV relative concentration was calculated from the virus titer determined by ELISA. Cultivars with the ZYMV concentration equal zero were evaluated as immune and the ZYMV absence in plants was confirmed by real-time RT-PCR.
