The simulated impact of different fertilization system on yield and the utilization of nitrogen from wheat root zone layers under shortage of water
Original language description
The impact of nitrate content manipulation in subsoil layers under differentiated water supply was examined using crop model. The results of field experiment with differentiated water supply after anthesis were used for validation of the model. The simulation confirmed that leaching of nitrate from autumn N application form root zone is negligible under given site conditions and contributed to better use of N in dry years.
