Original language description
The aim of the monograpth was to study and analyze conceivable sources of the environmental pollution at the current status, describe the anthropogenic impact on the environment and raise the environmental and ecological awareness among citizens and policy makers in the Czech-Bavarian border region. The results of the project will provide base data for determination of the natural content of selected risk elements and substances in relation to human activities. The results of the project will increase the environmental awareness on the both sides of the border, especially in the fields of soil, ground and surface water protection. The results of the project, describing the quality of the environment, will be available to particular users, landowners and local authorities and can help in decision-making processes.
