Immature Beetles Meeting 2015

Original language description

The sixth Immature Beetles Meeting was held in Prague in October 1–2, 2015, two years after the previous meeting (for abstracts see FIKÁČEK et al. (2015)). The meeting took place at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, in cooperation with the National Museum in Prague and the Crop Research Institute in Prague. In total, 55 participants from Europe, North and South America and Asia attended the meeting. Seventeen oral lectures and two posters were presented, concerning the morphology, taxonomy and biology of immature stages of beetle families (Adephaga, Hydrophiloidea, Staphylinoidea, Scarabaeoidea, Elateroidea, Coccinelloidea, Cucujoidea, Chrysomeloidea and Curculionoidea). The next meeting is planned for the autumn 2017 and will be held at the Charles University in Prague again.
