The aim of the workshop was to present the results of the project concerning the qualitative parameters of semi-natural grasslands in the Czech-Polish border area, their use for both agricultural and non-agricultural production. Qualitative parameters (organic and mineral substances) of grasslands under various management were presented, not only as mixed samples, but also as individual species. The effects on changes in the parameters of organic (nitrogenous substances, structural fiber-ADF, NDF, lignin) and mineral substances (Ca, P, K, Mg, Na) depending on the type of plant community and method of management were discussed.
