Original language description

Individual growth curves were computed to investigate relationships between their shapes and production traits in dairy cows. Body weights of 195 replacement heifers during the rearing period and milk production at the first lactation were observe. The Gompertz function was applied for estimating growth curve parameters, both basic and derived (mature weight, maturing rate, degree of maturity, absolute growth rate).
