The results of thermographic measurements machine milking caused an increase in teat temperature, the highest values were obtained after milking immediately. Teat temperature did not recovery to initial value before milking until 5 minute. But disinfecting evoked a significant chilling effect in the teats (P<0.01,P<0.05), thereby teat traumatization caused by machine milking was reduced. Milking at 40 kPa caused less teat traumatization that milking at 45 kPa. New liners increased temperature of teats of teats more then old liners, but the differences were not significant. The differences in the temperature states of teats were not significant between rubber liners of producer A and producer B.
