Original language description

Three-lactation random regression model was applied to test-day records of milk and protein yields in the first three lactations of the Czech Holstein breed. Model included herd-test date, fixed regressions within age-season class and random animal and permanent environment regressions. Gibbs sampling method was used for estimation. The (co)variances of random regression coefficients were used for calculation of genetic and (co)variances, heritabilities and correlations on a lactation basis as well as swell as for each day of lactation.
