Seven microsatellite markers useful for determining genetic variability in White and Brown Short-Haired goat breeds

  • Original language description

Microsatellite variation was analysed in two breeds of goat (White and Brown Short-Haired). Three of the markers originated from cattle, three from sheep, and one from goats. Within these seven loci, allele frequencies, heterozygosity, polymorphism information content and genetic distances were calculated. Both breeds exhibited relatively high level of heterozygosity.

Sedm mikrosatelitních markerů vhodných pro určení genetické variability u bílého a hnědého krátkosrstého plemene koz

  • Czech description

U dvou plemen koz (bílá a hnědá krátkosrstá) byla analyzována variabilita pomocí mikrosatelitů. Tři markery pocházely od skotu, tři od ovcí a jeden od koz. Pomocí těchto sedmi lokusů byly vypočteny frekvence alel, heterozygotnost, polymorfní informační obsah a genetické vzdálenosti. Obě plemena vykázala relativně vysokou úroveň heterozygotnosti.
