Association between paternal microsatellite ETH10, heterozygous level of paternal microsatellites and milk production parametres in cattle

  • Original language description

"There were observed milk production parameters in 5506 daughters of 37 Czech Pied sires in our study. Sires were genotyped for microsatellite markers ETH10, BM1824, BM2113, ETH3, ETH225, INRA23, SPS115, TGLA122, TGLA126 and TGLA227. Aim of this study was to find relation between ETH10, heterozygosity of microsatellites and milk production parameters. Significant relation was found between ETH10 and milk fat content and also between heterozygosity of microsatellites and milk fat content as well as milkprotein content. Results motivate to continue study on above mentioned paternity microsatellites in relation to milk production parameters in cattle.

Vztah mezi paternitním mikrosatelitem ETH10, stupněm heterozygotnosti paternitních mikrosatelitů a parametry mléčné užitkovosti skotu
