Immunohistochemical localization of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in the pig ovary

Original language description

The localization of PCNA was demonstrated in paraffin sections of pig ovarian tissue using primary mouse monoclonal anti-PCNA antibody. In primordial follicles, no remarkable staining for PCNA either in granulosa cells or in the oocytes was observed. Inprimary to secondary follicles, positive staining in oocytes and in some of granulosa cells was detected. The advanced preantral and particularly actively growing small to large antral follicles showed extensive PCNA labelling in the layers of granulosaand theca cells and in the cumulus cells encircling the oocyte. PCNA labelling was expressed in nuclei of oocytes in preantral and small antral follicles.

Czech description

Lokalizace PCNA byla provedena na parafinových řezech prasečí ovariální tkáně pomocí monoklonální protilátky . Žádné významnější značení nebylo detekováno v primordiálních folikulech. V primárních až sekundárních folikulech bylo lokalizováno pozitivní značení v oocytech a některých granulozních buňkách. V pokročilejších aktivně rostoucích antrálních folikulech bylo detekováno rozsáhlé značení v granulozních buňkách, v buňkách theca interna a také v kumulárních buňkách. Značení v GV v oocytech bylo pozorováno pouze v v preantrálních a malých antrálních folikulech. V atretických folikulech byl pozorován pokles značení PCNA se stupněm atreze. Ve folikulech s pokročilou atrezí bylo pouze omezené nebo žádné značení v granuloze a thece.
