We demonstrate that lyophilised somatic cell stored for 3 years at room temperature are able to direct embryonic development following injection into enucleated oocytes. These results show that alternative systems for the long-term storage of cell linesare now possible.

Lyofilizované somatické buňky podporují vývoj embryí po jejich přenosu do enukleovaných oocytů

Czech description

Naše pokusy demonstrují, že lyofilisované somatické buňky uložené po tři roky v pokojové teplotě dokáží řídit časný embryonální vývoj, pokud jsou jejich jádra injikována do enukleovaných oocytů. To dokazuje na možnosti alternativních systémů uchování genetického materiálů od ohrožených druhů zvířat.
