Bifidobacterium actinocoloniiforme sp nov and Bifidobacterium bohemicum sp nov., from the bumblebee digestive tract
Original language description
Bifidobacteria are the main representatives of probiotics. We have isolated and described two new species of bifidobacteria from the digestive tract of bumblebees. They were differed from the known species of bifidobacteria using the sequencing of phylogenetic markers (gene for 16S rRNA and HSP60-heat shock protein, 60 kDa) and results of phenotypic characteristics (biochemical tests, morphology of the cells etc.)
