Interspecific somatic cell nuclear transfer: advancements and problems
Original language description
Interspecific somatic cell nuclear transfer seems to a promising method for obtaining embryos from those species where oocytes are difficult to obtain. Eventually, embryonic stem cells could be obtained from interspecific embryos. This approach, however, faces several problems that are mostly associated with the inability of interspecific embryos to activate their genome.
