In the paper are compared costs for growing and processing of selected energy crops. It regards three one-year crops (triticale, winter wheat, maize straw) and three multi-year crops (sorrel Uteuša, reed canary grass and knotweed Bohemica). The costs arecalculated for four different forms of final product (bales, chopped matter, briquettes, pellets). The results have shown that advantageous only is utilisation of residual biomass after harvest and market utilisation of main product. Purposefully grownenergy crops without possibility to use grants can not be currently competitive to the existing fossil fuels.

Czech description
V práci jsou porovnávány náklady na pěstování a zpracování vybraných energetických plodin. Jedná se o tři jednoleté plodiny (tritikale, pšenice ozimá, sláma kukuřice) a tři víceleté (šťovík Uteuša, chrastice rákosovitá a křídlatka Bohemica). Náklady jsouvypočtené pro čtyři odlišné formy výsledného produktu (balíky, řezanka, brikety, pelety). Z výsledků vyplývá, že ekonomicky výhodné se jeví pouze využití zbytkové biomasy po sklizni a tržním využití hlavního produktu. Záměrně pěstované energetické plodiny bez možnosti využití dotací mohou v současné době jen obtížně konkurovat stávajícím fosilním palivům.
