Original language description

Since the mid 1990s, resulting from concerns on climate change and its connection to the emission of greenhouse gases, the main interest in alternative fuels has been concentrated on fuels from biomass or rather carbon dioxide neutral fuels. Autumn 2001the European Commission presented a draft communication and two directive proposals concerning the promotion of using bio fuels and other renewable fuels and also on the taxation of bio fuels. In May 2003 a directive for promotion of bio fuels and otherrenewable fuels came into force. On the basis of acquired information and own work the contribution involves review of national standards concerning alternative motor fuels. In connection with gradual introduction of the alternative motor fuels, researchand development in this field the time anticipation of the European standards generation is presented.

Stávající normy a jejich využití pro kapalná a plynná alternativní paliva.

Czech description

Od poloviny 90. let na základě zájmu o změnu klimatu a její vazbu na emise skleníkových plynů, byl hlavní zájem upřen na paliva z biomasy nebo spíše na neutrální paliva z pohledu CO2. Na podzim 2001 vydala Evropská komise návrh materiálu a 2 návrhy směrnice, týkající se podpory používání biopaliv a dalších obnovitelných paliv a také zdanění biopaliv. V květnu 2003 vstoupila v platnost směrnice pro podporu biopaliv a dalších obnovitelných paliv. Na základě získání informací a vlastní práce tento příspěvek obsahuje přehled národních norem týkajících se alternativních motorových paliv. V souvislosti s postupným zaváděním alternativních motorových paliv je uveden výzkum a vývoj v této oblasti, jakož i předpokládaná doba tvorby Evropských norem.
